ERIC has produced a wide range of research and innovation papers since 1992. This section contains recent papers within the key resource assessment areas of Vegetation, Soil and Salinity.

The Vegetation papers cover techniques in vegetation mapping and classification using remotely sensed, satellite data.

The Soil papers primarily cover a unique and award-winning technology commercialised by ERIC in 1992 to may soil properties, eg. texture, pH, Eh, EC, etc. using gamma-ray (radiometric) data. The papers include the early research work that lead to the commercial application of the technology and subsequent innovations in salinity mapping.

The Salinity papers are an outcome of 15 year's research and innovation by ERIC principals on the relationship between soil health and salinity. These papers develop a new general model for salinity and provide the evidence of the cause of salinity, natural salinity pathways and relationships between vegetation and salinity.
